3 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora
1st day: Marrakech-Ouarzazate
After your breakfast, we will depart for Ouarzazat through the famous Tizi Ntichka pass (2260m), over the High Atlas Mountains, snow on its peaks most of the year; appreciate the beauty of the landscape on the twisted road through the Berber villages. We'll get to Ait Ben Haddou village, where stands the famous Kasbah, built by the last Berber chieftain El Glaoui Ethami, late 19th century. The Kasbah is recognised as a UNESCO matrimonial historical site, now a house of many Glaoui family members. Lunch by the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and continue to Ouarzazat, “the Hollywood of Africa”, where you have the option to visit and see many props used in movies you may already have seen such as Gladiator, Kondon and Alexander the Great. The momie, Asterix…Overnight accommodation will be in a hotel in Ouarzazate.
2nd day: Ouarzazate - Zagora – Ennakhla dunes
Departure from Ouarzazate to Zagora through the valley of Dara, we will visit Kasbah and the palm of the valley. The lunch will be in Zagora. After, we’ll head southwards to the well-known Tamegrout. Visit the Islamic-book shop, the oldest in the area, which served as a school and the source of Islamic education. Our visit continues to the hand-made pottery works where you will see men baking the clay to make different pots and kitchen dishes, and making fire to heat them in high temperature. We will return to the hotel in other to go to the Ennakhla dunes by camels to spend night in Berber tent in the bivouac (sunset on the dunes)
3th day: Zagora – Marrakech
After the return from the dunes, you will return back to Marrakech. The lunch will be in a restaurant in Tizi Ntichka pass. Then we continue to Marrakech.

4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga and Zagora
1st day: Marrakech-Ouarzazate- Kelaat M’gouna- Dades Gorges
Departure from Marrakech by the collar Tizi n'Tichka (altitude of 2260m), you will visit Ait Ben Haddou kasbah: site registered on the list of the World heritage of UNESCO since 1987 and where many films were turned like: Lawrence of Arabia, the mummy, Gladiator, Astérix…), visit the studios of the cinema in Ouarzazate. Passing by the Oasis Sekoura (visit of the Amredil kasbah), then the valley of the pinks and the road of the miles Kasbahs in Kalaat M’gouna, the famous city for the annual festival of the pinks (see a gum of natural products extract from the pinks), then to continue to Dadès Valley and Gorges, one of the most beautiful oases of Morocco. the night will be in an inn (familly guest house)
2nd day: Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges – Erfoud - Merzouga
Departure from Dades Gorges passing by TODRA gorges in Tinghir(to make excursions in gorges bordered of high cliffs with peak), then passing by the town of ERFOUD to the valley of ZIZ (city known by factory of Marmar for the fabirication of fossils), then the town of Rissani an economic center of the area and the city known by his market, Kasbahs and monuments Alaouite . After having to finish the visits of the market continuing towards Merzouga. Then you will leave on the back of camels (camel trip) to spend the night to the bivouac under berber tent in the middle of the dunes of the Erg chebbi (almost 2 hours of way during gone and 2 hours for the return)
3th day: Merzouga - M’haresh Oasis - Tamagroute - Zagora
Departure of Merzouga towards ZAGORA taking off-road passing by M’haresh oasis the lunch will in the inn in full desert, to continue towards the village TAMAGROUTE very interesting village known by the kasbahs undergrounds, pottery, ceramics and the splendid library created at the 17th century when are preserved illuminated manuscripts of Coran, written on the skin of the gazelles as well as works of history and medicine and the night will be in the hotel in ZAGORA.
4th day: Zagora - Ouarzazate - Marrakesh
Return to Marrakech by Ouarzazate while crossing the valley of Daraa (to make stops to take photographs of the palm plantation and the Kasbahs).

5 days tour from Fes to Marrakech
- 1st day: Fes - Ifrane – Azrou – Medilt - Ziz Gorges – Erfoud -Merzouga.
Today we drive south towards The Sahara desert, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and enjoy breathing the pure air that comes from the Cedar forests, also pause for having a while of a time with Barbay apes. Have stops for taking pictures in splendid panoramic views, driving through Ziz valley Gorges and palm groves of Tafilalet big oasis, arriving to the Erg Chebbi dunes field of Erg Chebbi, the big dunes near Merzouga. Check-in at an inn.
- 2nd day: Merzouga: the tour of the dunes
Today we get to learn more about the life of the Nomads in our off-road excursion to the breathtaking Erg Chebbi where we will visit the Nomad families who migrate and live in tents, attend an African folkloric music/ dance performance in Khamlia village, and walk in a desert oasis where we learn about the irrigation system of the area. Late afternoon you will go by camels to the bivouac middle of the dunes to pass night under a traditional Berber tent.
- 3th day: Merzouga - Rissani - Todra Gorges - Dades gorges
You will return to your hotel with the camels for breakfast and shower. After, we depart the desert via the ancient desert town of Rissani and Tinjdad to the dramatic Todra Gorges (you will havea walk at Todra Gorges along the river) but before we pause to relish the panoramic views of the old mud berber villages overlooking the valley. The Lunch will be in a restaurant under 600 feet high red cliff of the gorges where many of rock climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport. Later we continue to Boumalene Dades. Check in at an inn in the Dades gorges (Berber family).
- 4th day: Dades gorges - Rose Kalaa Magouna – Ait Ben Hadou - Ouarzazate
A scenic drive awaits you as you drive through kalaa Magouna and the one thousands Kasbah road, the famous city for its roses and rose products, every year a rose festival is held in May, continuing to Sekoura where we pause at the well preserved Kasbah of Ameridil, beautifully surrounded by palm plantations, before we carry on our drive to Morocco holywood-Ouarzazate and the photogenic Kasbah Ait Ben haddou, a rest point for caravans in the past, and scene for many international movies nowadays (site registered on the list of the World heritage of UNESCO since 1987 and where many films were turned like: Lawrence of Arabia, the mummy, Gladiator, Astérix…, Lunch in restaurant over looking the Kasbah, the night will be in Ouarzazate in the hotel

After the breakfast, to make the turn of the dunes by 4x4 to visit the tents of nomads in full desert and to have an idea on their lifestyle, then you will visit the village of Khamliya slaves to assist the dance and the music of the gnawas of the south (former slaves of the sultan of Marrakech in 1590), also you will visit the lake with the pink flamingos in full desert and. In the afternoon you will have a dromedary trip to spend the night to the bivouac under tents of nomads in the middle of the dunes of the Erg chebbi. |
