Day 1: Marrakech (guided tour of the city)
Your 15 days Morocco Marrakech desert trip begins after breakfast, with a tour of the red city of Marrakech led by a friendly and entertaining English-speaking guide. You’ll visit the stunning Menara, surrounded by magnificent flowerbeds and reflecting the image of a glorious Moorish building. You’ll also explore other famous sites such as the Majorelle Gardens and the impressive Koutoubia minaret (it’s almost identical to the Giralda tower in Seville, Spain!) The tour wouldn’t be complete without a stop at the Saadian tombs, which represent the very best of Moorish architecture. Dating from the 16th century, these tombs were even discovered behind walls until 1917! Finally, you’ll stroll through the souk, immersing yourself in the colorful alleyways. Day 2: Marrakech – Tizi N’ Tast – Taroudant
After breakfast, we set off for the Tizi N’taste pass. Crossing the stunning Moulay Brahim Gorge, you’ll catch your first glimpse of the imposing Toubkal mountain range. You’ll pause at the Tin Mel mosque, a true vestige of the Almoravid dynasty, before tackling the Tizi N’tast pass, where you’ll take epic photos of the Souss plain. Then it’s on to Taroudant, via Ouled Berhil, where we’ll spend the night in a classic riad.

Day3: Taroudant – Ighrem – the valley of Tazagzaoute – Tafraoute
After visiting the ramparts of Taroudant, once the bomber capital of the Saadian sultans thanks to Moulay Mohammed, who reinforced the city’s defenses with 7 km of walls in the 16th century. You’ll venture into the Anti-Atlas and the town of Ighrem to discover a number of Berber villages and the gentle valley of almond trees. You’ll take a track through the palm-fringed procession of Tazagzaoute before reaching Tafraoute just in time for sunset. You’ll spend the night in a comfortable hotel.

Day 4: Tafraoute – Ait Mansour -Tafraoute
After visiting Tafraoute, the region is full of stunning painted rocks and picturesque valleys such as Amelnes and Ait Mansour. Weather permitting, you can take a stroll through these beautiful places. You can also visit a guesthouse and receive a warm welcome from a local family for lunch. At the end of the day, we return to Tafraoute and spend the night in a hotel.

Day 5: Tafraoute – Col Kerdous – Tiznit – Agadir – Essaouira.
Today we’re heading to the bustling city of Tiznit, via the stunning Kerdous Pass. You’ll explore the city’s ancient ramparts and discover some dazzling jewels. We’ll then take the picturesque coastal road to Agadir, where we’ll recharge our batteries with a delicious lunch. We continue on to Essaouira (Mogador). We’ll spend the night in a charming riad in the heart of the medina.

Day 6: Essaouira
Today, you’ll head for Essaouira’s fishing port, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We’ll visit the Jewish quarter “El Mellah” as well as the Skala and souks, and have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we’ll head to the beach for a well-deserved rest. You’ll spend the night in a Riad.

Day 7: Essaouira – Eljadida – Casablanca
After a delicious breakfast, we set off from Essaouira for Casablanca. You’ll make a few stops along the way. You’ll arrive in El-Jadida, the medieval city whose Portuguese streets are incredibly pleasant to wander. You’ll explore its ramparts, Portuguese citadel, and super-impressive cistern. Then it’s back to Casablanca, Morocco’s economic center. We’ll visit the gigantic Hassan 2 mosque (it’s the third largest in the world, no problem) and the Church of the Sacred Heart, which looks like a Gothic cathedral. The church even served as a conference and exhibition center at one point. We visit the Mahkama de Pacha building in the Habous district before checking into a luxury hotel.

Day 8: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
Today’s adventure takes us from Casablanca to Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco. Rabat is a dynamic city on the magnificent Atlantic coast, developed during the French protectorate. It boasts a unique architectural and decorative style reflecting contemporary Morocco. You’ll visit the royal palace, the astonishing Chellah necropolis, the Hassan tower, the mausoleum of Mohamed V, the gardens of the royal palace, and the gardens of Oudaya and Shella. We’ll then head to Chefchaouen, where we’ll stay in a picturesque Riad.

Day 9: Chefchaouen
The day begins with a guided tour of the charming medina of Chefchaouen! This blue city in the Rif mountains is a favorite with tourists. You’ll discover native crafts such as soft woolen garments and beautifully woven blankets. We’ll also explore the beautiful blue and white streets and historic Kasbah, and even stop off at a goat cheese cooperative. la You’ll spend the night in a fabulous local Riad.

Day 10: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez
Let’s continue our journey today to “Volubilis”, the ancient Roman ruins of Moulay Driss Zarhoun, who was the first man to introduce Islam to Morocco. You’ll visit these incredible monuments before heading to the Ismaili capital of Meknes. A local guide will help you explore the famous tombs of Moulay Ismail, the grandiose stables, Place El Hdim, and Bab Mansour, the most famous gateway in North Africa. After lunch, you’ll head for the spiritual capital of Morocco, the majestic “Fez”. You’ll spend the night in your riad in the ancient Medina.

Day 11: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Medilt – Gorges of Ziz – Erfoud – Merzouga.
Today, we’re heading for the Merzouga desert via the Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll take a break in the cedar forests to observe the monkeys. We’ll have lunch in Midelt before driving another 3 hours to discover the superb Ziz gorges and palm groves of Tafilalet. The next stop is Erfoud, the date capital of Morocco. You’ll stop to take photos of the breathtaking views. Finally, we’ll head to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi for a sunset walk before sleeping in a hostel at the foot of the dunes.

Day 12: Merzouga: (desert trip)
Prepare yourself for spectacular sunrises and sunsets, perched atop the dunes of Erg Chebbi. After breakfast, we’ll head to BEGAA to visit its oasis, before heading to the picturesque village of the Khamliya gnawas. This place is home to the descendants of sub-Saharan slaves. In the evening, we’ll take a camel ride to our luxury bivouac in the middle of the dunes, where we’ll spend the night in tents.

Day 13: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges
Today we wake up early to watch the magnificent sunrise and soak up the serenity of the desert. After breakfast and a shower, our adventure will take us to the Todra Gorge in Tinghir, where we’ll explore High Atlas trails and charming Berber villages while admiring breathtaking panoramas. We’ll cross one of Morocco’s most beautiful palm groves, passing adobe villages and centuries-old kasbahs (weather permitting, of course). You’ll see stuntmen in action beneath the mighty Todra canyons. In the afternoon, we continue our journey towards the Dades Gorge. Dinner and overnight stay in a fantastic local hotel or guesthouse.

Day 14: Gorges du Dades – Rose Kalaa Magouna – Ait Ben Hadou – Ouarzazate
Get ready for a picturesque adventure today as you take the Route des Mille Kasbahs to Kalaa Magouna. This town is famous for its fragrant roses and rose-based products. It even celebrates a major rose festival every May! Our next stop is the Sekoura oasis, where we’ll visit the magnificent Kasbah d’Ameridil, surrounded by lush palm groves. Then we’ll head to Hollywood Morocco – Ouarzazate -. Overnight in a comfortable riad in Ouarzazate.

Day 15: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Today, we’re off to Marrakech. But first, we must make a stop at the legendary Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Countless blockbusters such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and The Mummy have been filmed here, making it a must-see for any film buff.
