6 days Atlas Moutains tour to Ouzoud waterfull and gorges

Day 1 : Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Marrakech

Today; our driver guide pick-up you from your hotel and depart to Marrakesh. We will have a stop in Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.  the site was declared as a heritage world by UNESCO in 1987. Several films were turned in the kasbah like the Mummy,  ladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Astérix… In the afternoon, you arrive in Marrakech. Overnight will be in a Riad near Jamaa Lafna square.

Day 2 : Marrakech (city tour)

Today is devoted to exploring the red city Marrakech and visiting these best places. A local guide will lead you to discover the Menara, the minaret of Koutoubia (the twin tower of the Giralda in Seville, Spain). The visit also consists of tombs of Saadiens composed splendid mausoleums built in the sixteenth century and gardens majorels. Lunch at a local restaurant and after you explore the souk near the famous Jamaa Lefna Square. Overnight in a local riad not far from the square.

Day 3 : Marrakech – Ouzoud waterfull – Azilal – Imelghas

The “6 days Private tour” begins today. Departure towards Demnate we cross to take the road to Azilal. In Tanant, we turn left to join the Ouzoud waterfalls. A Walk along the path that leads to the platform to admire the 110-meter-high waterfall that crashes into a chasm. After lunch, departure for Ait M’Hammed and descent to Ait Bougmez valley. Tn the heart of the High Atlas, a stronghold of the tribe of Ait Atta. Arrival in Agouti, the first village of this ancient glacial valley, nicknamed “the happy valley”, framed by mountains of 3000 and 4000 meters of altitude. Continue to Tabant, El Had, and Imelghas. Overnight and Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Day 4 : Imelghas – Zaouia Ahanesal – The Cathedral – Bin el Ouidane

Departure for the beautiful village of Zaouia Ahanesal by the Tizi n’Illisi pass at 2610 meters. Passing to the “Cathedral”, blocks of majestic rocks, and in front of the “house of the French”. The Beautiful landscapes all along a very technical track. Continuation to the dam of Bin El Ouidane. We cross the Wadi El Abid before arriving at Ouaouizeght. There we will see the monument commemorating the passage of Charles de Foucault in 1883. Overnight and Dinner and overnight at hotel Bin el Ouidane.

Day 5 : Bin El Ouidane – Imilchil – Todra Gorges

Departure for a day of road and tracks in the heart of the Middle Atlas. We pass y Tizi n’Ifar and Tizi n’Isly we will descend to Imilchil and its two lakes. The legend says that these two lakes would be born of tears shed by two lovers, from rival tribes who would have refused their marriage. Every year, a Moussem (festival) perpetuates the memory of the fiancés. This celebration is an opportunity for the Berber girls of the Ait Haddidou tribe to meet their future husband. The lunch will be in Imilchil before continuing to Agoudal, Tamtatouche and Todra Gorge whose cliffs reach 250 m in height Dinner and overnight in an inn.

Day 6 : Todra gorges – Dades gorges – Ouarzazate

The private Morocco tour continues in the beautiful valley of roses in Kalaat M’gouna. Visit local workshops that produce products extracted from roses. arrival to Sekoura oasis to visit the Kasbah Amredil. Then, we continue to Ouarzazate “Hollywood of Morocco” and the film industry. We will visit the movie studios where many films were shot like: Gladiator and the mummy.  On our way to Marrakech, we stop to Ait Benhaddou kasbah, one of most exotic and preserved sites in Atlas region.  The Kasbah is declared a UNESCO protected site since 1987 and offers a magnificent view of the surrounding palm trees.  The night will be in a hotel at Ouarzazate
