Day 1: Fez – Volubilis – Meknes
Today your tour of “7 days trip imperial cities & Chefchaouen from Fes ” begins. After breakfast, a local guide will take you on a tour of the attractive medina of Fez. You’ll visit the primitive mosque, founded in the middle of the 9th century, and El Quaraouyine University. We’ll visit the tomb of Moulay Idriss, founder of the city of Fez, the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts and Crafts, the Mellah “Jewish Quarter”, and the Medersa Sefarine, which specialized in teaching grammar and theology, the souks and the Medersa Bou Inania.
After lunch, the journey continues to Volubilis, the Roman ruins of Moulay Driss Zarhoun. Moulay Driss Zarhoun was the first man to introduce Islam to Morocco. After the visit, you’ll move on to the Ismaili capital of Meknes, where you’ll visit Moulay Ismail’s tomb, Place Lahdim, and Bab Mansour, North Africa’s most famous gateway. Overnight in a Riad in the majestic medina.
Day 2: Meknes – Chefchaouen
Let’s start the day with breakfast and set off to discover the enchanting city of Chefchaouen, home to the Moorish people in 1471. Crossing the Rif mountains, we’ll encounter picturesque villages and revel in the natural beauty that surrounds us. A visit to the Spanish-style town, brimming with arts and crafts stores, is a must. Enjoy splendid views of mountains, lakes, and rivers, and savor the serenity of nature. Spend the night in a comfortable riad for some well-deserved relaxation.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Rabat – Casablanca
Depart from Chefchaaouen to Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital, via Kenetra. On arrival, you’ll visit the Hassan Tower, Oudaya, the Shella Gate, and the old Medina before enjoying a delicious lunch. Afterward, you’ll head to Casablanca to visit the stunning Hassan 2 mosque before. Overnight in a 5-star hotel.
Day 4: Casablanca – Eljadida – Essaouira
Your epic journey through Morocco continues to the medieval city of El Jadida. A true hidden gem with a fascinating history, it was occupied by the Portuguese in 1506 and was even included on UNESCO’s famous World Heritage List in 2004. After a fascinating tour of El Jadida, you’ll head to Essaouira, another fantastic World Heritage site, with a picturesque fishing port that reflects the Portuguese influence of the 16th century. Lunch will be served in a comfortable local restaurant before you have the afternoon to wander the medina at your own pace. In the evening, relax in your charming Riad.
Day 5: Essaouira – Marrakech
Today, you’ll continue your visit to Essaouira to explore the port and the kasbahs. This town was built in the 18th century opposite the magnificent island of Mogador. It’s famous for its port and unique climate, making it a dream destination for surfers and fans of the annual Gnawa music festival. In the afternoon, your trusty driver will take us back to Marrakech for a cozy night in a riad near Jamaa Lafna Square.
Day 6: Marrakech
Today, you’ll set off to discover the vibrant red city of Marrakech! Your local guide will take you to visit the Menara, the minaret of the Koutoubia “twin tower of Seville’s Giralda”, the astonishing 16th-century Saadian tombs, and the breathtaking Majorelle gardens. A delicious lunch in a local restaurant is planned. In the afternoon, stroll through the colorful souks for some unique shopping. End the day with a visit to Jamaa Lafna Square for an entertaining show. accommodation will be in a comfortable riad in the old medina.
Day 7: Marrakech – Beni Mellal – Ifrane – Fez
Departure for enchanting Fez via Beni Mellal to the city of Fez, with a stop in Azrou. You’ll cross the picturesque Middle Atlas Mountains, winding around cedar forests, breathing in the fresh mountain air while capturing the most breathtaking photos.
